Roberto Valenzuela is an award winning wedding photographer and best selling author. He is also located in Beverly Hills, CA.
Based on the photos I have seen I believe Roberto uses several different lenses besides the regular 50mm. These lenses include wide angle and short and medium telephoto. A standard lens may be used to photograph the shoulders up while a medium telephoto lens may be used to take a photo of the wedding bouquet. A short telephoto lens could be used for a shoulders up photo of the couple.
I can tell that Roberto is a highly creative and artistic person. He is passionate about what he does and the its subject matter because he not only focuses on wedding photography alone but he also holds work shops and has written books. It also seems like he likes nature and likes to keep things fairly natural as his photos are not overly produced or layered with effects. Many of his photos takes place outdoors either by a building or in nature altogether. While he does have photographs that were taken indoors it is important to note that the subject/s were near a natural light source.
